All in-depth manuscripts are solicited by the Program Chair.

ALL submissions must be emailed to Carey Ross at by February 1, 2022.

A manuscript is required from presenters of all in-depth seminars. These guidelines aim to provide an informative document with data to accompany the author’s presentation at the AAEP meeting.

Manuscript Definition:
An In-depth manuscript is a full-length paper that details information given in an in-depth seminar presentation. In-depth manuscripts are intended to be a broad discussion of a topic or area that updates the membership on the current knowledge in the area to be addressed. In-depth manuscripts should generally be formatted as described in the “General Instructions for Authors” except where otherwise noted here. Headings and subheadings may be used as appropriate to reflect a logical flow of the material being presented. Content of the in-depth manuscript will be agreed upon between the Program Chair and the author, usually with specific requests by the Chair at the time the manuscript is solicited. The author should include new science/research pertinent to the in-depth topic.

When submitting the finalized manuscript to the AAEP, make sure to do the following:

  • Clearly identify author(s) and their degree(s) along with the paper title.
  • Make sure all manuscripts are submitted with a current return address, email address, and phone number
