Our History
The AAEP was founded in 1954 by a group of 11 charter members who saw that together they could direct the focus of equine veterinary medicine.
Our Strategic Plan
The AAEP conducts strategic planning every three to four years in order to establish priorities and set direction for the association.

Our team is honored to support the AAEP’s mission and assist our members with both their professional and personal development.
The AAEP is led by 12 members who strive to represent the needs of all in AAEP membership while protecting the health and welfare of the horse.
