New resources added in 2024! The Practice Culture Subcommittee hopes the detail in this toolkit will help equine veterinarians better understand workplace culture and seek to implement these tools to improve equine practice.
As a way to define the many aspects of workplace culture, there are seven pillars that can provide a scaffold onto which equine practices can build a more positive workplace environment for employees and owners:
- Non-salary benefits
- Physical and mental safety
- Connection and community
- Mattering at work
- Professional and personal life
- Communication
- Opportunities for growth
