At its simplest, ethics is a system of moral principles. They affect how people make decisions and lead their lives. Perhaps no single word will impact equine practitioners’ quality of life more than ethics. We do not make decisions in any aspect of our lives in a vacuum, and the core of who we are and how we choose to live our lives will be formed by the integrity and mindfulness placed in developing our moral principles.
