The American Association of Equine Practitioners (AAEP) today announced the addition of EquiManagement, an Active Interest Media (AIM) Equine Network publication,as a Media Partner. The Media Partnership program consists of three equine healthcare media outlets dedicated to providing resources and education through the AAEP to equine veterinarians and horse owners to improve the health and welfare of the horse.

“Active Interest Media Equine Network has had a long relationship with AAEP, and we are thrilled to be able to expand that by having EquiManagement become an official AAEP Media Partner,” said Kimberly S. Brown, associate publisher/editor of EquiManagement. “We firmly believe that offering business solutions to equine practitioners is important, and we are dedicated to working with the AAEP to help make veterinary practice more successful in today’s challenging climate.”

As a committed partner of equine practitioners and their clients, EquiManagement has been a strong advocate of the AAEP and its members’ education through the distribution of its quarterly publication to all AAEP members and support of the AAEP’s Annual Convention as both an exhibitor and sponsor.

Started in 2009, EquiManagement is the only magazine and website developed to focus solely on the business of equine veterinary medicine. EquiManagement is owned by Active Interest Media, which is the largest network of equine publications and websites in the industry. Through articles, downloads, news, research, in-depth features and videos, EquiManagement.com provides veterinarians and business associates the information they need to better develop and manage their practices.

“It is rewarding to have a publication of EquiManagement’s excellence interested in promoting the importance of equine healthcare and improving the lives and business operations of the equine practitioner,” said David Foley, AAEP executive director. “We look forward to continuing to work together to benefit the continuing education of equine practitioners for the health of the horse.”

The two other AAEP Media Partners are EQUUS (also an AIM Equine Network publication) and The Horse: Your Guide to Equine Health Care. Each supports the AAEP through education and dissemination to members and their clients of cutting-edge horse health news.

The American Association of Equine Practitioners, headquartered in Lexington, Ky., was founded in 1954 as a non-profit organization dedicated to the health and welfare of the horse. Currently, the AAEP reaches more than 5 million horse owners through its over 9,000 members worldwide and is actively involved in ethics issues, practice management, research and continuing education in the equine veterinary profession and horse industry.
