Looking to be part of a team that loves what they do and wants to make equine practice fun again? Then Countryside Equine Hospital in Covington, Georgia is the place for you! We are seeking a motivated and passionate intern to join our 4-doctor equine-exclusive practice beginning summer 2025. We offer ambulatory, hospital, and 24/7/365 emergency care to horses of all disciplines. Our services include everything from general practice, surgery, sports medicine, reproduction, diagnostic imaging, and more. Our doctors value education – we all remember what it’s like to be a new grad – so we are committed to making sure our interns get the mentorship they need in order to feel successful before going solo. That means you’ll have guidance and oversight from our talented team of vets as you develop your confidence and skills. Our diagnostically driven approach to cases will ensure that you gain plenty of experience with digital imaging, clinical pathology, endoscopy, and more.
For more information, please reach out to Dr. Caroline Brown at cbrown@countrysidevets.com with your CV and cover letter. Successful applicants must hold a DVM or equivalent and be eligible for licensure in the state of Georgia. We strongly recommend at least a 2-week externship with us to be considered for the position.
