Equine Medical Associates, PSC is an equine ambulatory practice located in the Bluegrass region surrounding Lexington, Kentucky. We are looking to expand our current team with an enthusiastic, motivated associate veterinarian. Equine Medical Associates, PSC is a full service veterinary practice focused on providing clients the best care for their horses in a timely fashion. The practice has an emphasis on reproduction, lameness, radiology and sales consultations while also providing herd health and wellness programs including vaccinations, dental exams and emergency services for our clients. Our current staff of veterinarians focus on all aspects of equine care with both an ACVIM and ACVS on staff.
Our clients are skilled equine professionals with quality horses, ranging from broodmare farms, racing and training stables and auctions to performance horse stables and horse shows. The practice strives to be on the cutting edge, providing our clients with the best treatment options available. Equipment used by our doctors while on ambulatory calls include digital radiograph machines, digital ultrasound machines with theriogenology, muscoskeletal and cardiology capabilities, endoscopes including video abilities, RLT laser, shockwave, Game Ready, Lameness Locator, MagnaWave and therapeutic ultrasound devices. Associates are encouraged to explore treatment options and partners are willing to invest in equipment for well proposed treatment options. Our on-site laboratory provides quality results in a timely manner.
We are looking to hire a motivated, enthusiastic doctor interested in practicing equine medicine that is eager to learn and develop their veterinary skills and knowledge base. The position is open to veterinarians of all experience levels including new graduates and has the opportunity for an individual to grow professionally and advance their career.
