The AAEP supports the position that when a horse is offered for sale, any known invasive surgery, disease, injury or congenital defect which is not apparent, should be disclosed to the intended buyer by the owner and/or agent.
The AAEP supports disclosure of ownership by single or multiple owners of a horse at the time of offering for sale.
