• Neurolymphomatosis is a rare differential diagnosis in horses presenting with branching, cord-like subcutaneous masses, diffuse weakness, polyneuritis or mononeuropathy.
• Further tests including blood smear, multiple nerve biopsies, ultrasonography, endoscopy, CSF analysis, electromyography and repeat examination can help with diagnosis.
• Immunohistochemistry of neural tissue is required to diagnose neurolymphomatosis.
