TEH South is a Tennessee Equine Hospital affiliated ambulatory and urgent care facility in Harvest, AL. At TEH we strive to provide exceptional patient care and customer service. We are proud to serve the horses in our communities and are looking to grow our team of veterinarians with an Internship opportunity at this location. The ideal candidate should demonstrate a strong interest in equine medicine, a solid work ethic, and desire to learn from a team of high quality veterinarians.
Intern will have exposure to Ambulatory, Outpatient, and Hospital cases and will work with the Associate Veterinarians to provide patient care in all three areas. The caseload at this location is primarily Wellness/Herd Health, Lameness/Sports Medicine, Reproductive, and Emergency Care.
Beyond hands on case involvement Intern will be able to join Journal Clubs and Rounds via Zoom with Interns and Specialist at the Referral Hospital in Thompsons Station, TN.

TEH South is associated with Tennessee Equine Hospital in Thompsons Station. At that location we have 2 surgeons and 2 internal medicine specialists. There is opportunity for additional training/interaction with them throughout the year. The hospital in Thompsons Station also typically hosts CE meetings that intern could attend.
