Elders Equine is accepting applications for a veterinarian for our clinical internship. This is a 1-year term
Elders Equine is a full-service equine referral hospital and primary care ambulatory practice located in Winnipeg, Manitoba. Our 6 veterinarian practice has specialists in equine surgery, equine practice (ABVP) and anesthesiology. Training will be provided in all areas of equine practice during the 1-year term including ambulatory field call, emergency medicine, surgery, internal medicine, advanced imaging including CT and MRI, anesthesia, reproduction etc. Opportunities to participate in our clinical research projects and program available.
We strive to provide the highest quality of equine veterinary care with a commitment to learning, mentorship and teaching. If you are looking to gain equine veterinary medical experience to further your education and develop your clinical judgement, we are looking for you!
The candidate will need to have a DVM degree or equivalent with full veterinary licensure capability in Manitoba, Canada. Salary will be commensurate with experience and consistent with an internship or junior associate level. Benefits include group health and dental program, AAEP membership.
