Foundational Skills in Equine Practice

Foundational Skills in Equine Practice is limited to AAEP-member veterinarians in their first 10 years of practice and is capped at 60 participants to ensure optimal training and skills development. Spots are filled on a first-come basis. The registration rate is $675.

Prior to the start of the main educational sessions on both Aug. 8 and 9, an optional mare palpation repro lab using live horses will be available to 10 registrants each day. Participation in either of these wet labs is on a first-come basis, cannot be taken more than once and requires separate advance registration at an additional cost of $50.

In addition to the educational program, your meeting registration includes:

• PDFs of PowerPoint presentations plus required pre-event reading
• Daily transportation between the Hilton College Station and Texas A&M University
• Breakfast and lunch provided on Friday, Aug. 8, Saturday, Aug. 9 and Sunday, Aug. 10
• Welcome reception on August 8 to interact with fellow attendees and instructors
