Equine dentistry is a rapidly evolving discipline that has seen tremendous progress over the last decade. Advancements in anatomical research, diagnostic imaging techniques, and minimally invasive treatment modalities have dramatically improved patient outcomes after dental procedures.
With in-depth skill building at the AAEP’s DentistryXP, you will conquer the ever-present challenge of accurately evaluating complex dental and sino-nasal disorders. Using state-of-the-art diagnostic skills, you will offer your patients and owners realistic prognoses and effective therapeutic plans for dental conditions.
Part of the wet labs-focused learning series AAEP Experiential—or XP—DentistryXP is designed for practitioners with foundational knowledge of the topic and some experience seeing a variety of dental cases in practice. This intensive 2-day course will be held April 3–4 in Ocala, Fla., at World Equestrian Center (morning lectures) and Peterson Smith Equine Hospital (afternoon wet labs). The event is limited to just 20 participants to ensure a small-group environment where instructors can deliver highly personalized guidance tailored to each attendee’s specific interests and experience level.
