Presented by the AAEP Performance Horse Committee.

This session explores real-world ethical challenges in the performance horse industry. Through scenario-based examples, participants will hear different perspectives on morally ambiguous situations and gain both communication tools and practical strategies for balancing horse welfare with professional and industry demands. Tailored for early-career veterinarians, the discussion offers guidance to build confidence, resilience, and integrity in ethically complex decisions.
