
Explore the Veterinary Care of Horses
When: December 6, 2025, 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. MT
Location: CSU Spur, 4777 National Western Dr., Denver, CO 80216
Who Can Attend: Students ages 12-16
Students will be introduced to the basics of veterinary treatment and horse safety – no prior horse experience is required!
Attendees will rotate through six stations:
- Horse Safety
- Vital Signs
- Wound Care
- Dentistry
- Equine Rehabilitation
- Virtual Reality Anatomy
The event will conclude with a discussion with equine veterinarians about the profession and pathways for veterinary school admission.
