Coyote Rock Ranch Scholarship
The Coyote Rock Ranch Scholarship awards top veterinary school students with a dedication to equine medicine for their academic excellence, leadership in their school and chapter, and their long-term goals. Penelope Knight, an avid horsewoman and strong advocate of horse health, created the Coyote Rock Ranch Veterinary Scholarships in 2015.
Coyote Rock Ranch, owned by Knight and located in the beautiful high desert country of Central Oregon, is a breeding operation for high-end cutting horses. Committed to quality in everything they do, Coyote Rock Ranch has a reputation for breeding and raising well-bred Quarter Horses with the pedigree and care to become tomorrow’s champions.
Award: Three (3) scholarships of $75,000 are annually awarded.
- Applicants must be on track to graduate with your DVM or equivalent in 2023
- Applicants must be a National AAEP Student Membership (paid through June 30, 2023) and be active within your school’s AAEP chapter
- Applicants must also be currently enrolled and in good standing at an AVMA-accredited school of veterinary medicine in the United States, Canada, Caribbean, and Europe
