Data and staff feedback on overnight coverage led to a new policy—and less burnout—at Fredericksburg Equine in Texas, which stopped seeing patients between 9:00 p.m. and 6:00 a.m. During these hours, the practice offers VetTriage veterinary telemedicine services through which an online veterinarian can help a client determine if their horse needs to be seen and, if so, can recommend several referral centers.
