Current and aspiring equine practitioners can participate in lectures and hands-on labs covering diverse areas of equine medicine by attending one of four continuing education events sponsored by the American Association of Equine Practitioners in 2018.

The schedule includes the Summer Focus Conference & Labs, which will have three tracks—one of which will be exclusively for students—presenting the latest evidence-based knowledge within a specific area of medicine; two 360° meeting that combines lectures and wet labs into an intensive “boot camp” experience; and the 64th Annual Convention in San Francisco.

  • 360° Back Pain & Pelvic Dysfunction: June 3 – 6 at Colorado State University in Fort Collins, Colo. Sponsored by Dechra, Sound and Universal Imaging
  • Summer Focus Conference & Labs: June 25 – 27 at the Raleigh Marriott Crabtree Valley in Raleigh, N.C. Sponsored by Boehringer Ingelheim, Dechra and Universal Imaging.
