The American Association of Equine Practitioners Foundation is accepting applications for funding from non-profit organizations and individuals that share its mission to support research, education, benevolence and the equine community until May 1.

Applications will be reviewed by the AAEP Foundation Advisory Committee and board of directors at their July meeting. Consideration for funding will be given to those requests that are dedicated to the mission and objectives of the AAEP Foundation. Priority emphasis will be given to applications that have the most impact on the health and welfare of the horse on a national and international scope or where emergency funding is needed. Funds will not be provided to “for-profit” individuals or groups. Funding requests for emergency or equine disaster relief support may be submitted to the Foundation at any time.

Application instructions, requirements and selection criteria can be found on the Foundation’s website atwww.aaep.org/foundation_funding_grants.htm  in the grants/scholarship section.
