Erin Contino, DVM, DACVSMR

Dr. Contino is associate professor of equine sports medicine and rehabilitation at Colorado State University College of Veterinary Medicine and Biomedical Sciences, where her clinical and research interests include diagnosis and treatment of lameness and poor performance in equine athletes.

After earning her veterinary degree from Colorado State University in 2010, Dr. Contino completed an internship at Pioneer Equine Hospital in Oakdale, Calif. She returned to Colorado State for a three-year residency in equine sports medicine and rehabilitation followed by a one-year fellowship in equine musculoskeletal ultrasound before joining the faculty.
