Position Full Description

Trinity Equine is searching for up to two Equine Interns for the upcoming 2027-2028 year. We are a business made up of two private practices- Crossroads Veterinary Clinic and Panorama Equine- based in a stunning part of northern California, nestled along the Sacramento River and surrounded by the Cascade mountain range.

Trinity Equine provides both in-house and ambulatory services for a diverse clientele from high level western performance horses to backyard companions. We are currently a four veterinarian team with specialists in surgery and sports medicine & rehabilitation, an associate veterinarian, and a rotating equine fellow. We are devoted to maintaining a high standard of care to our patients, while also maintaining both a collaborative and positive work environment.

We welcome recent graduates looking to develop their skills in general practice, field medicine, sports medicine, imaging, surgery, anesthesia, and more. This position offers variety and opportunity for young veterinarians looking for mentorship and support in their first year or two after graduation.

PTO stipulations

PTO will be available according to the following schedule. PTO must be scheduled in advance and will be subject to the clinic meeting minimum staffing levels at all times. Up to four weeks of PTO can be accrued over time, however, employees are encouraged to utilize all their time off to help maintain a healthy personal life. PTO accrues at one (1) day per month, starting with date of hire. You may accrue up to two weeks (10 workdays) of PTO per year.
