Saddle up for midwinter science and sun in the tropical oasis of Puerto Rico at the AAEP’s 27th Annual Resort Symposium! Registration is now open!
Offering 13.5 RACE-accredited CE hours on the theme, “How to Advance Your Skills in the Field and Clinic,” you’ll strengthen practical proficiency and understanding in key areas of patient care.
Learning Opportunities Include:
Among the learning opportunities from the meeting’s expert panel of instructors, you will:
- Obtain current pain management options for cases in the field and hospital
- Advance your problem mare and cycle managing skills
- Expand your abilities to manage neonates in the field
- Explore how abdominal ultrasound can level up your imaging skills
- Improve your sports medicine and podiatry therapies for common lameness cases
Supplementing three half-days of practical CE will be several opportunities to relax and recharge by soaking in the area’s natural tapestry of lush emerald rainforests and warm, turquoise Atlantic waters.
Following morning sessions on Jan. 20–21, grab the sunscreen and explore the area’s ecologic treasures during optional excursions with colleagues or simply unwind on a secluded beach or kick back at one of the resort’s lagoon-style pools.
No matter if you roll up to see patients on the farm or patients roll in to the clinic to see you, make plans to escape winter’s grip by joining colleagues for unique, destination CE on “The Island of Enchantment.” Just remember to pack your flip flops, sense of adventure and medical curiosity!
The AAEP thanks Zoetis for its ongoing sponsorship of the Resort Symposium.
