Who Can Attend: Students ages 12-16
Explore the Veterinary Care of Horses
Students will be introduced to the basics of veterinary treatment and horse safety – no prior horse experience is required!
Attendees will rotate through six stations:
- Horse Safety
- Vital Signs
- Wound Care
- Dentistry
- Laminitis
- Colic
The event will conclude with lunch and a discussion with equine veterinarians about the profession and pathways for veterinary school admission.
Advance registration is required. Also, the parent or guardian of each registered student will receive via email a waiver form before Dec. 7.
