Louisville, Ky.-based ambulatory practice owners Drs. James and Kerry Beckman spun off their emergency services into the standalone practice Bluegrass Equine Emergency Service in 2021. Bluegrass Equine services only after-hours emergencies for their primary practice and for other area equine veterinarians wanting to reduce or relinquish their on-call coverage.
