Equine veterinarians will unravel the mysteries behind impaired performance in the athletic horse when the American Association of Equine Practitioners’ Focus on Poor Performance meeting convenes in Lexington, Ky., Sept. 10-12.

Offering 20.25 CE hours, Focus on Poor Performance will help practitioners efficiently assess, diagnose and treat the wide range of performance-limiting diseases through lectures and case-based discussions of musculoskeletal, respiratory, cardiac and neurologic abnormalities that affect race, sport and endurance horses.

A renowned list of presenters includes Drs. Elizabeth Davidson, Sophy Jesty, Robert MacKay, Erica McKenzie, John Peloso, Gary Priest, Sarah Puchalski and Nathan Slovis.

The meeting will be held at the Hilton Lexington Downtown. The early registration deadline is Aug. 17, prior to which AAEP members can receive a $50 discount on their registration.
