Dr. Larry Bramlage injured his head Thursday afternoon in a fall from a golf cart in the barn area of Churchill Downs. He was transported to University Hospital for evaluation. Because of the nature of the injury and in an abundance of caution, he has been admitted to the hospital overnight for observation. Dr. Bramlage appreciates the concern and best wishes extended by the racing community.

Dr. Bramlage was at the track in his role as AAEP On Call veterinarian for NBC Sports’ racing coverage.
