How to Interpret Common Hematologic and Serum Biochemistry Differences Between Neonatal Foals and Mature Horses

There are important and significant differences in normal hematologic and serum biochemical parameters between neonatal foals and mature horses. Failure to recognize these differences can lead to erroneous interpretation of neonatal clinical pathologic values.
