I cannot give enough positive feedback about this internship, which provided an excellent balance of mentorship and independence. My year at Rhinebeck prepared me well for a theriogenology residency, and now in private practice I am grateful for the strong foundation in emergency medicine and general practice. The personal relationships I formed there continue to be strong today. I would recommend this internship to anyone interested in equine practice, particularly someone who values being treated as a doctor rather than a technician. I wouldn't trade my year at Rhinebeck for anything.
