Equine Parvovirus-hepatitis Virus (EqPV-H)

Equine serum hepatitis, formerly referred to as Theiler’s Disease, is caused by infection with equine parvovirus-hepatitis virus (EqPV-H). EqPV-H is a hepatotropic single-stranded DNA virus capable of causing hepatitis in infected horses.
